Have unused or stored equipment you may no longer need or want?

How about donating it for a good cause. The BackPacker is always looking for donated items in working condition for youth and their enjoyment. Tents, packs, stoves, poles, whatever you have that is still functional and in fair to new condition is always accepted. It is a great way to ensure others and primarily todays youth, have the needed items for a successfull and enjoyable trekking or camping experience.

 Grizz is attempting to create a Youth Wilderness Association with primary functions being in education, recreation, and emphesis on future restoration and enjoyment for the newer generations and those yet to come.

For beginners in the field, the costs can add up substantially and quickly, rendering an inability to succeed. Providing minimal equipment in working order gives todays youth the tools needed to get out and achieve the overall programs success. Many have collected items over the years and as their time and schedules have tightened and focus placed elsewhere, may still have the much needed equipment and items todays youth can use and enjoy. Why not put it to good use... Give a child an experience they will remember for a lifetime, help to furthur their education and enjoyment within our natural world.
