Welcome to the launching of the BackPacker. This site is in conjunction with my Mogulus live broadcast site. Here I will be updating and continuing with the information discussed on various shows and topics covered. Sometimes there are things missed in review and this will be a great place to expand that knowledge and information and to cover whatever catagories and items that may have been missed or need clarification. So again, welcome to the BackPacker, a site for the survivalist, camper, trekker, backpacker..Tips, tricks, travels. A great place to relax and learn a few basic skills and share experiences

I have extensive trail time having completed two A/T thru hikes one North and one Southbound. I have also been in the Rockies, the Cascades and completed many many years of day treks ranging from 1-20 milers.

I have been an out door type ever since childhood. I began my life in the Green Mountains of Vermont having been born there. I have traveled extensively and relocated many times, but still always manage to be drawn back to the rolling hills. I have thouroughly enjoyed Mother Natures bounty and beauty all of my life. I also have a medical background having been in the service and being a Hospital Corpsman gaining trraining as an EMT/ Para.

I have approx. 40 + years on trail and camping experiences to rely upon for my material presented here.  I continue to enjoy the great outdoors and will until I can no longer physically. This site is being used to bring you, the viewers some of my experiences and skills needed while trekking and or camping in the wilds, no matter your location. Topics will range from shelters, trail safety, to basic first aid, pack gear, fire starting skills and techniques, to many other items. I encourage you to return often and see what is new. Once established, I will be hosting a regularly scheduled Liveshow at the studio.

Please be sure to read and become familiar with my *** disclaimer ***

Thank you for your visits and continued support for "The BackPacker"

May you have many many happy trails, and safe journey's.. Hope to see you on the trails my friends...
